Profile

I am an Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate from Oregon State University and a Certified Engineering Intern (EI) in the state of Oregon. My primary interests include PCB layout and design and embedded systems engineering, with a focus on practical, manufacturable, and well-documented hardware design.

My academic and professional experiences have centered on circuit design, power systems, and microcontroller-based projects, with additional background in CAD modeling and system integration.

Core Focus Areas

  • PCB Layout & Schematic Capture
  • Embedded Systems Development
  • Power System Design
  • Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
  • Technical Documentation

Certifications

  • NCEES FE Exam – Passed
  • Engineering Intern (EI), State of Oregon

Selected Engineering Projects

Senior Design – Fish Tank Monitoring System
Awarded Hoffman Construction Process Excellence. Developed an all-in-one aquarium monitoring system that tracks nitrites, pH, temperature, and water hardness using a pump-fed color sensor and temperature probe. The system features a custom PCB, e-ink display, 3D-printed enclosure, and intuitive dial/button interface. Designed with expansion in mind for wireless alerts and remote monitoring.

Remote-Access Desktop Terminal (R-DAT)
Designed a portable, battery-powered terminal capable of interfacing with a LattePanda Mu for remote desktop access. Created a custom PCB and battery management system supporting USB-C Power Delivery (20V / 2A) with multi-stage voltage regulation (16.8V, 10V, 5V, 3.3V). The project highlights iterative design, power architecture planning, and full-cycle hardware development.

SCARA Robotic Arm with G-Code Parsing
Co-designed a robotic arm that interprets and executes G-code for image drawing and automated tool changing. Implemented stepper motor control, servo-driven tool selection, and Python-based dynamic G-code parsing. Powered at 24–36V with focus on motion reliability and system integration.
